Harrington Starr has partnered with a Global Financial Technology company, and they are looking to hire a Senior C#, .Net Software Engineer, with experience working with highly scalable and high-performance systems.

Key responsibilities:
- Contributing to architectural designs on the platform, providing innovative and creative solutions.
- Implementing new ideas for the design, planning, and maintenance of the company’s platform.
- Ensuring consistency across all engineering teams with adopting and utilising the relevant technologies and applications of the business.
- Mentoring and providing guidance to junior members of the team – promoting good software engineering practices in line with the company.
What skills, experience and qualifications required:
- Excellent experience with C#, .NET Core.
- Strong experience with NUnit, AWS, Azure, Angular and JavaScript.
- Multithreading experience within highly scalable applications.
- Hands-on approach to maintain the existing codebase.
- Pragmatic and proactive, confident to take on initiatives in designing, planning, and implementing new features.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Attention to detail is crucial to ensure engineering solutions are reliable and sustainable to maintain – ensuring maximum usability for a variety of users.
- Mentorship experience – able to guide the next generation of engineers.
