Senior Software Engineer

Synchro is proud to be partnering with a UK based, leading fashion retailer as they embark on a number of exciting projects within their technical roadmap. They are seeking an additional Senior Software Engineer to join them as they enter their next phase of a new and exciting project.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be playing a vital role in the design and development of a new E-Commerce platform, harnessing AI to expand the platforms functionality and offering to customers. The tech stack sits around JavaScript and Node OR PHP , we are open to any framework as we are more focused on Engineers who have strong experience in system design.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a household brand and play a key role in their growth and help shape what their technical architecture will look like.

You will have:

• +5 years of Engineering experience with a proven record of Web development and agile work
• Brilliant knowledge of JavaScript (latest ECMAScript and ES5), PHP OR Node.JS, Browser API,
• Supportive, caring individual ready to create long-lasting relationships with their peers.
• Curious talent with a generalist approach to programming languages, frameworks, and solutions with expertise in JavaScript
• Data geek continuously looking for a better insight to measure and steer their work

Responsibilities:

• Delivery of well-thought and working code within existing frameworks.
• The architecture of various in-size solutions for client & server-side deliverables.
• Mentorship of more junior members of the team. Ownership of the process execution, unblocking and guiding colleagues whenever required.
• Working with the business and project teams to consult, validate, design, and build new additions to our platforms.
• Development of our E2E Automation suite
• Maintenance and further development of DevOps tools.
• Ownership of 3-weeks cycle scrum-ceremonies; reporting on the team progress. Engagement of stakeholders and team members.
