Description:
SRG is pleased to be partnering with an organisation involved in the development of human biomimetic platforms. Your working environment will be decidedly research-driven and the key areas the business will touch on are testing and development of therapeutics for serious human diseases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and lead projects for external customers, from aiding in the design of experiments, running complex in vitro Organ-on-a-chip applications, performing assays and reporting the results to a high standard.
- Support and mentor junior team members and aid in the training of new team members.
- Supporting the lead scientist with liaising with customers
- Being responsible for all aspects of running experiments including upkeep of the lab, maintaining stocks, record keeping, updating protocols and maintaining good health and safety practices.
- Perform all required laboratory responsibilities and perform data analysis.
- Rigorous analysis and interpretation of experiments and presentation of data in numerous formats.
Desired Experience:
- PhD (or Equivalent) in biology, bioengineering or related subject with experience working in a regulated environment
- Experience in 3D biology models is essential
- Expertise in primary cell cultures, ELISAs and confocal microscopy
