Description:

Roofglaze, a specialist in the glass and glazing industry, is looking for a confident and experienced Senior Salesperson/Estimator to join its busy Sales and Estimating Team. Based at their offices in Eaton Socon, St. Neots, this full-time permanent role offers 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and requires on-site presence (no remote working).

This role provides an exciting opportunity to work within a small, friendly team while handling a varied workload that encourages personal and professional development. As Senior Salesperson/Estimator, you will play a critical leadership role, managing the team’s performance, overseeing sales and estimating functions, and driving the company’s business growth through proactive engagement with both new and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the sales team, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure high performance.
  • Manage both personal workload and the team’s tasks, effectively delegating responsibilities as necessary.
  • Set and agree on departmental and individual sales & gross margin targets in collaboration with the Managing Director.
  • Implement sales strategies and track progress to ensure targets related to turnover and profit are met.
  • Work closely with the Managing Director to define and adjust the pricing strategy.
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline to capitalize on new and existing business opportunities.
  • Develop team capabilities through training and ensuring adherence to company policies and processes.
  • Coordinate and manage Monthly Sales Meetings and weekly briefings.
  • Provide technical support to customers across the full range of Roofglaze products.

Key Requirements:

  • Essential experience in the glass and glazing industry.
  • Proven track record in a proactive sales or estimating role, ideally within a customer-focused environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Outgoing personality, comfortable building strong customer relationships over the phone.
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing own workload.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure.
  • Target-driven mindset, with proven experience of consistently meeting and exceeding KPIs.
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to identify business opportunities.
  • Team player with willingness to support colleagues and contribute to the wider success of the business.

  • Full Time, Permanent
