Senior Practitioner

Description:

Cranstoun Worcestershire is seeking competent and knowledgeable Senior Practitioners to join our alcohol and drug service, supporting individuals across Worcestershire. This role offers a great opportunity to provide high-quality interventions and supervise a team delivering substance misuse support in the community.

We deliver services across all six districts of Worcestershire through our central hub in Worcester, shared care schemes, and community outreach locations.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Provide specialist substance misuse interventions to service users, ensuring high standards of care.
✔ Supervise and support healthcare professionals, offering clinical guidance and reflective supervision.
✔ Work closely with Operations Managers to ensure service quality and contractual compliance.
✔ Deliver services in line with national guidance, clinical standards, and best practices.
✔ Support individuals in recovery, helping them achieve healthier and safer lifestyles.
✔ Participate in the rota for extended service hours (8 AM – 9 AM & 5 PM – 7 PM).

Candidate Requirements

✔ Minimum 2 years’ experience working with people who use substances, carers, or other vulnerable groups.
✔ Knowledge of national clinical standards, supervision practices, and reflective practice.
✔ Experience in supervising healthcare professionals and motivating teams.
✔ Strong understanding of substance misuse issues, harm reduction approaches, and safeguarding practices.
✔ Ability to work flexibly and support service users in multiple outreach locations.
