Senior Photographic Printer

Description:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Photographic Printer to join our team at Genesis Imaging. The Senior Photographic Printer will be reporting directly to the Print Director. The ideal candidate will demonstrate good interpersonal skills, a passion for delivering superior work, and meticulous attention to detail. Responsibilities:

• Liaise with clients and internal team members to ensure the successful execution of printing projects.
• Operate large format Epson printers and a Durst Lambda C-type printer and C41 paper processor.
• Perform colour-correction tasks, including colour-checked prints for clients and colour-matching to existing prints.
• Retouch client images, as required, using Adobe Photoshop.
• Collaborate with the Print Director and technicians to troubleshoot printer or technical issues.
• Maintain quality control processes, checking for image resolution, colour accuracy, and print consistency.

Skills/Requirements:

• Proficiency with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom) and Capture One.
• Several years of experience working with large-format Epson printers. Experience with a Durst Lambda C-type printer and C41 paper processor is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team atmosphere.
• Service and action-oriented mindset, with a commitment to meeting client expectations.
• Excellent organisational skills
