Description:
The Senior Net Zero Climate Strategist Consultant role focuses on providing strategic guidance, technical expertise, and innovative solutions to assist clients in reducing emissions and advancing sustainability. This role extends across Net Zero strategy, GHG inventories, and decarbonisation strategies, offering a unique chance to serve as a key advisor to the organisation's key clients.
Role Responsibilities
- Act as a project manager, overseeing client projects across various corporate sectors. This includes acting as the central point of contact, coordinating teams, and delivering proposals and project deliverables.
- Lead the analysis of carbon emissions; carbon emissions impact, target setting (SBTi), using various digital platforms, developing emissions reduction roadmaps, preparing Net Zero strategies, and helping clients implement these within their organisations.
- Oversee the preparation of reports, workshop materials, presentations, and technical summaries.
- Lead and support partners and teams in developing proposals for clients across a wide range of sectors.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant technical degree or 5+ years' experience in net zero, environmental or energy consulting or related industry.
- Strong expertise and detailed technical knowledge of GHG accounting and reporting principles, methodologies, and schemes (e.g., GHG Protocol, SECR, SBTi, EEIO).
- Experience with data manipulation and visualization tools.
- Project management experience, including efficient work planning, resourcing, and budgeting.
