As Senior Material Supplier Repairs Management, your focus will be to develop, manage, and improve:
To provide full management of Repair orders and associated tasks across the Clients Airlines in order to deliver on the Engineering and Maintenance Supply Chain initiatives.
Daily management of repair quotes, open order books, upkeep of information input to the AMOS System and full management of repair vendors including setting up service level agreements and supplier management performance.
In this role, you’ll report to the Repairs and Operational Warranty Manager
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
As Senior Material Supplier Repairs Management, you’ll be responsible for:
- Fully accountability for the receipt and processing of open repair orders from Original Equipment Manufacturers’ & Maintenance Repair & Overhaul agencies.
- Assessing costs and quoted price based on work scope, pricing agreements, historical data, highlighting any anomalies immediately and assessing items for economical repair opportunities vs replacement.
- Challenge any quotes that seem discrepant based on process guidance, training given.
- Evaluate and approve quotes in line with the Clients sign off approvals, seeking approval when pricing is above your sign off limit.
- Send responses to vendors, updating the AMOS system, adding comments, linking quotes and additional information.
- Expediting of orders as and when necessary, upon escalation from the Operations Desk, Workshops, AOG Desk.
- Involvement in contract negotiations and contract implementation.
- Organising and leading Supplier Quarterly Reviews, challenging supplier performance against agreed measures and contract clauses.
- Evaluating “AMOS” Repair Order Data (Age Profile, Value etc.), take action to improve turn-around times, rectify issues and problem solving to improve TAT.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Aviation background with supply chain and component repair experience
- Aircraft/engineering technical experience and knowledge of aviation components
- Ability to interpret aircraft technical publications e.g., IPC’s, Vendor CMM’s, OEM SB’s and SIL’s
- Strong IT skills and knowledge of engineering systems and Excel and other Microsoft applications
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Quick to analyse and provide a solution
- Demonstrate self-confidence and the ability to present at all levels across a wide engineering organisation
- Role requires strong business English, both spoken and written
- May involve some international travel
