Description:

The Senior Manager, Global Mobility, EMEA, will act as the trusted thought partner to the EMEA organization and the HR function by providing bespoke mobility solutions and advice for all cross-border moves in the region, balancing efficiency, colleague experience, compliance, and business needs.

This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced and hands-on Global Mobility professional who is ready to step up and use best practices gained from past positions to shape and build a world-class Global Mobility CoE (Center of Expertise), while continuing to ensure the flawless execution of relocation activities. The successful candidate will play a pioneering role in the evolution of the CoE as it undergoes transformational change which requires reimagining its purpose and guiding principles, revamping existing processes, and strengthening its role in the organization’s talent strategies.

The role reports to the Senior Director, Global Mobility, and can be based in any location in Europe, but preferably in France, Spain or the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities:
 

  • Co-create the direction and purpose of the Global Mobility function to evolve beyond a tactical function to be recognized as a strategic talent mobility business partner.
  • Accountable for smooth relocation process for inbound mobility into EMEA region as well as intra-regional moves with strong support from Relocation Management Company (RMC) partner, tax and immigration consultants.
  • Engage with and educate stakeholders, particularly assignees, HR colleagues and business leaders, on Global Mobility philosophy, policies and processes.
  • Assess and manage exceptions to policy.
  • Monitor performance of external partners in the mobility ecosystem and propose corrective actions, where applicable.
  • Leverage data to provide insights into Global Mobility costs and processes, and propose data-driven solutions to optimize our talent mobility strategies.
     

Requirements:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field
  • At least 5 years’ hands-on Global Mobility experience in EMEA in some or all of the following topics: personal income tax, corporate tax, immigration, social security
  • Able to effectively consult, negotiate, resolve conflict and advocate for change
  • Solid track record of managing cross-border moves in global companies or with Relocation Management Companies (RMCs)
  • Fluency in at least one major language used in EMEA, besides English, will be advantageous
