Our Senior Local Marketing Exec will execute best-in-class marketing campaigns to supercharge awareness of The Gym Group brand and bring in new members via a series of creative tactics executed through our 230+ gyms up and down the UK.
They deliver our in-gym communications to our members, creating compelling member-facing assets to drive engagement and retention.
They will be an expert collaborator with our Operations team and in-gym teams, ensuring that our local marketing tactics are executed brilliantly and that our teams are galvanised and inspired to attract as many members as possible.
Reporting into our Senior Marketing Manager, our Senior Local Marketing Exec’s mission is to help take The Gym Group to its next phase of local marketing excellence – delivering best-in-class collateral and creative for peak trading periods and helping design the tools for our teams to shout about our gyms in their local communities all year round.
Key Responsibilities...
- In partnership with the Operations and the Senior Marketing Manager, populate a clear annual calendar of local and in gym marketing – working with the Senior Marketing Manager so that all relevant teams and stakeholders have visibility of what’s going in which touchpoint across the year.
- Execute great creative across of all local marketing materials from brief to physical delivery – with strong stakeholder and project management.
- Work with other channel leads to execute connected consumer journeys from local marketing prospect building to conversion – ensuring we have all touch points set up in time and looking brilliant.
- Deliver the assets to improve The Gym Group’s stand out presence at local key events and marketing opportunities, building relevance to local consumers with a focus on prospect generation.
- Taking learnings from previous years, successfully execute our local Student marketing push in September/October - making us the no. 1 gym of consideration amongst our target student communities.
- Support with measurement and analysis of local marketing tactics, delivering key reports to help understand ROI and areas for optimisation.
- Support our Corporates Team to drive acquisition of corporate members through creation effective local marketing collateral for corporate prospects and environments.
- Own the creative delivery and execution of our internal and external digital screens in gym – ensuring they are effective and compelling.
- Own the creative delivery and execution of BAU printed materials in gym, including posters and Point of Sale, working with Ops to deliver brand consistency and a brilliant customer experience.
- Execute the marketing assets for any in-gym events or launches - briefing in the assets, owning the delivery of those assets and any tracking as required.
- Working with the Senior Marketing Manager, manage the local marketing budget ensuring it is correctly phased, deployed and processed.
