Senior Investment Programme Manager And Data Governance Lead

The role will work with all parts of the investment team and the investment support functions including the front office, investment services, risk and performance and finance.

What will I be doing?

You will work as a Programme Manager to provide structure, design, oversight and management of strategic change projects for the investment team and develop relationships with key systems and data vendors (including ratings agencies) and outsourced service providers in order to derive maximum benefits from each of them.

You will also lead the investment data governance function helping to maintain the integrity of investment data and reporting.

As a Senior Investment Programme Manager and Data Governance Lead, you will:

• Take responsibility for the delivery of the change programme for Investments, including:

  • Establishing a framework for change management in Investments (evaluation (cost/benefit analysis), prioritization and sequencing of competing change initiatives)

  • Project management and business analysis for key, strategic initiatives

  • Providing active oversight of each of the projects in the change programme, leaning in to provide steer and help address risks and issues, provide management reporting, status updates

  • Collaborating with Internal Stakeholders across Wellcome and Project Managers across a wide range of delivery projects. Gather, validate and manage the documentation of business requirements

• Responsible for data governance including Data checking, issue resolution, loading third-Party data feeds, benchmarks and maintaining classifications and fund/asset attributes.

• Delivery and completion of Project Dawn and focus on BAU role, to advocate and become a ‘super user’ of Addepar and a consultant on the new operating model, ensuring continuity of design through to delivery and into BAU such that the anticipated benefits from Project Dawn are achieved and evidenced(BAU role will include taking responsibility for data governance, data quality, and reporting for the investment team, providing analytical and quantitative support through the creation of customised reports and dashboards)

• Lead regular (weekly/monthly/quarterly) investment reporting cycle and any ad-hoc requests, production of quarterly investment committee papers and Data Design Authority at Wellcome to govern Wellcome portfolio data

• Contribute to a diverse and inclusive culture across the organisation, collaborating across departments.
