This full-time, permanent position offers the flexibility of being based anywhere in the UK, with a unique chance to engage in a broad spectrum of global indirect tax work and partner with some of the worlds biggest corporate brands as they scale operations globally.
Reporting to the Global Head of International Tax Advisory, the Senior Manager Corporate International Tax Advisory will play a vital role in scoping and delivering global Corporate International Tax products and solutions for clients worldwide. This key position operates within a supportive and highly collaborative Tax Advisory team environment, offering substantial opportunities for professional and career progression.
- Research and provide advice across multiple jurisdictions on core international tax areas, including Corporate Tax, Permanent Establishment, TP, WHT, etc.
- Conduct Transfer Pricing benchmarking analysis in partnership with global clients.
- Perform Supply Chain and Functional Analysis, preparing supporting Transfer Pricing Documentation.
- Advise on tax-efficient trading arrangements.
- Manage the delivery of international tax advice across multiple countries, business divisions, and clients.
- Provide Tax Authority audit support and assist in the preparation of data, supporting documents, and applicable correspondence for tax reviews, inquiries, and audits.
- Work alongside Tax Managers and Tax Directors, serving as a trusted tax advisor and business partner to clients, fostering advisor-client relationships.
- Simplify complicated technical issues into understandable client action plans, including supply chain analysis and application of points of taxation.
- Stay updated on tax changes across a small portfolio of countries, identifying and communicating new advisory opportunities to the existing client base.
- Assist in the preparation of webinars as required.
- Ensure key deliverables are executed to an excellent standard within the International Tax Advisory team's quality and risk framework.
- Support and liaise with key stakeholders to gain clarity regarding terms of service to be delivered by the International Tax team.
- Assist with meetings (including teleconferences) dealing with technical issues.
- Participate in team training and coordinate with the Training Department.
- Encourage continuous improvement by engaging with systems that allow team members to share experiences, lessons learned, systems, and processes.
- Maintain effective processes across global international tax teams, staying abreast of developments in international tax and regional issues impacting the client base.
Qualifications:
- CTA and/or ACA qualified (or equivalent).
- Experienced in global-based international tax advisory for at least 5 years.
- Proactive and self-motivated, maintaining a professional and commercial outlook.
- Capable of working under pressure and with minimal supervision.
