Senior Hr Business Partner

 

Description:

We are looking for a CIPD chartered (or equivalent) HR professional to undertake this lead role in supporting the HR Manager, the HR team and the business in driving and implementing our People Business plan and HR priorities by delivering and championing a HR business partnering approach. Your main responsibilities will be to:
 

  • Ensure impact of HR teams actions through timely interventions, consistent and accurate guidance and commercial acumen.
  • Lead on the consistent implementation of business priorities e.g. EDI, talent management.
  • Manage day to day operational issues.
  • Represent the HR Manager when required at Exec meetings, Resource calls, HR Manager meetings, during annual leave etc.
  • Act as a point of escalation and support for the team and business in complex/critical issues.
  • Develop processes and initiatives to aid expediency and efficiency of the HR service.
  • Build, support and develop strong relationships within the team and business, acting as a critical friend to all parties.
  • Support the HR team with coaching, challenging and supporting senior managers on HR issues.
  • Work with the business and HR team to mitigate risk and provide challenge, advice and guidance accordingly through one to ones, workshops and other mediums as necessary.
  • Support wider function, unit or regional projects and tasks as and when required.

     

Candidate Specification


Essential
 

  • MCIPD qualified or with equivalent qualifications/experience.
  • Demonstrable experience of people management.
  • Well-developed leadership and delivery capability in executing projects and initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, presentation, organisational and communication skills and an ability to build strong relationships with colleagues internally and externally.
     

Desirable
 

  • Experience of non-UK HR activities and legislation ideally in any one or as many of: Italy, Spain Bulgaria, Serbia, Ireland and Colombia could be beneficial but isnt essential.
  • Second language capability related to any or as many of the above mentioned countries.
  • Commercial acumen and experience in an engineering or consultancy environment.
  • Experience of delivering value add initiatives/projects e.g., EDI, STEM, engagement events etc
  • Experience with PowerBi and/or SAP.
