Your profile
You will:
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on geotechnical design issues
- Develop and implement geotechnical design procedures
- Participate in research programs to ensure Vattenfall stays up to date with the latest developments in the industry,
- Lead and undertake foundation design tasks, specifically monopile foundations, using both PLAXIS and in-house developed tools
- Make foundation installation analyses using both commercial and in-house tools
- Prepare geotechnical design reports and other project related documents
- Collaborate with other disciplines, including structural, Loads and Site investigation
You ideally have:
- A master's degree in Civil Engineering with a geotechnical specialization,
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering,
- Experience with offshore foundation design, preferably including monopile design experience,
- Experience with foundation design using software similar to PLAXIS,
- Proficiency in programming in MatLab and Python for interfaces with design software.
- A proactive and outgoing mindset, ability to take ownership over tasks and ensure timely delivery.
- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g. API, DNV or ISO).
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment.
