Description:
Managing a small team of developers, you will deliver services and solutions that meet our users’ needs and achieve the university’s strategic objectives. You’ll set the standards and best practices for the team and for 3rd party developers and make sure they’re adhered to. You’ll also need to be an excellent developer yourself, leading by example.
What will you be doing?
You will:
- Create the strategy and roadmap for our front-end technical infrastructure.
- Be responsible for rolling out a new design system across the university.
- Manage a team to deliver new solutions that solve user and business problems for our website and intranet.
- Be responsible for maintaining existing solutions, responding to issues and fixing bugs promptly.
- Set development standards within the team and make sure we maintain high quality technical documentation.
- Undertake research to evaluate the financial and technical viability of projects according to possible technical solutions.
