Senior Finance Manager

Description:

A Senior Finance Manager is required to work for a consumer-led business on a permanent basis in Central London (hybrid working). Working for this multi-million turnover business, you will be working in an innovative and fast-paced environment and for a company that has been going from strength to strength in the past 5 years.

This role works as part of the finance senior leadership team and will be overseeing group reporting as well as the transactional finance function within the company. Leading a team of 3 direct reports and further indirect reports, you will be responsible for ensuring robust financial controls are in place and supporting the team as the business embarks on finance transformation projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading a team of 3 direct reports and a wider indirect team
• Overseeing the group reporting function, working under IFRS and across several entities
• Leading the annual audit and managing the relationships with the auditors
• Overseeing the transactional finance team and working as the point of escalation for any queries
• Continuously looking at ways to drive change and implement more robust financial controls across the group
• Working alongside the senior finance leadership team on a variety of finance transformation projects

Skill set required:

The successful candidate will be practice-trained with at least 4 years post-qualified experience, including experience working in a group reporting function for a global business. You must have previously managed and thrived at leading a team through change. Experience working for a consumer or stock-related business is preferred but not essential. A growth mindset is the key to success in this role, you will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and driving change in what is an innovative and entrepreneurial environment.
