Description:
The successful candidate will act as business partner to the UK&I operational account leads, building strong relationships to support their region of responsibility.
Role Summary:
- Coach and mentor, a team of 6 direct reports to achieve their personal development goals
- Develop good relationships with client finance & procurement contacts
- Support all UK & Ireland bids and savings initiatives
- Ensure high quality contractual and financial deliverables are produced in a timely manner
- Process and authorising contract and budget variations
- Responsibility for the production of budgets, forecasts and financial reporting and analysis
- Presentation of account commercial reviews to the senior management team
- Continuous review and implementation of process improvements to maximise efficiency
- Ensure SOX compliance at all times with no audit failures
- Ensure targets are achieved for key account measures
- Provide ad-hoc support to Finance Lead as required
Experience Required:
- Qualified or accountant with proven experience in financial reporting / analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to influence others and develop effective relationships with key stakeholders
- Excellent IT Skills with exposure to accounting packages
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to lead and inspire others
- Experience of working to tight deadlines
- Self-motivated, reliable and flexible team player
- Ability to work on own initiative
