Description:
Partner Financial are engaged with a customer centric, forward-thinking PE backed technology business that prides themselves on their product offering and diverse culture. The business is ideally positioned to expand through organic growth and acquisition across the country as it is in the process of consolidating as a market leader.
Reporting into the Financial Director, the successful candidate will play a key role in the Group’s finance function, driving accurate month and year end processes, while supporting the capital requests and budgeting processes, while being involved creating a best-in-class function that can support the growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Owning the preparation of the monthly management reports, such as the Board report and the Group consolidated accounts
- Developing a robust understanding of the financial aspects of the business to promote and implement control mechanisms
- Being the primary contact on the consolidated results for the Group for the external auditors
- Preparing the cash forecasts as well as monitoring the cash balances across the Group
- Leading the financial modelling across the group, such as long-term plans, arranging debt and equity financing or different growth modelling
- Working alongside the Financial Director, driving the correct accounting and integration for new acquisitions
- Working alongside the Financial Director on the assessment and integration process of upcoming acquisitions
- Business partnering with divisional teams, providing ad hoc project support and finance activities such as pricing and procurement
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) from a top 20 Accountancy firm
- Able to deliver with exceptional levels of accuracy, placing a high regard on achieving excellence
- Experience with acquisition accounting would be advantageous
- Proactive individual with an inquisitive mind-set where you continuously seek process improvement
- Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent IT skills, including Excel, and the ability to learn new IT systems and processes
