Description:
We are looking for Enterprise Solutions Architect with Strong consulting expertise to lead with a Point of View around Omni Channel, Order Management, E-Fulfilment, Last mile and WH, dark store execution models and the future direction of commerce software and applications. This position will be focused on working with our professional services team to improve the project delivery and implement client specific solutions around Blue Yonder commerce products.
What You’ll Do
- Understand business objectives and analyse the requirements of customers.
- Provide estimates to develop solutions to above requirements.
- Provide advice to customers regarding industry best practices and process methodology.
- Assists Project Manager(s) in planning efforts.
- Apply domain concepts into the solution and product area.
- Demonstrates good understanding of the product and its architecture. Makes tactical decisions on architectural and design issues.
- Author the solution architecture document and a key contributor in the development of a few critical and complex modules within a project.
- Author key design decision papers which evaluate - architecture options and recommends pros and cons to client and shapes / leads towards a good decision working closely with client.
- Participate in design and design review processes with customers or project teams to ensure that solutions effectively meet business objectives.
- Collaborate with the team and other leads to identify and resolve technical challenges related to the delivery of a product solution.
- Ensures that the non-functional requirements such as security requirements and performance objectives, are met.
- Manage technical issues, coding and configuration to ensure delivery of modules and the product.
- Ensure the usage of reusable components through design, and code quality, performance, and scalability and reliability requirements are met.
- Keeps aware of new technologies and analyse how they can be applied to Blue Yonder products and the current delivery project.
- Communicate with the director/PMG to raise awareness of the potential risks related to applications within a product.
- Collaborate across teams around technical and architectural issues.
- Responds to queries from internal and external sources (within a project team, or across project and services teams).
- Identify and groom next level architects for succession planning within the product.
- Participates in interviewing of Architects & developers and builds a team of architect and Technical leads.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent or higher) in Computer Science or Engineering or other relevant discipline (MCA, MSc in Computer Science etc.)
- Minimum 15 to 18 years of experience in Software implementation with relevant experience in commerce.
- Experience in working in Europe region in commerce domain across industries.
- Expertise and/or working knowledge of one or more of commerce solutions like - Magento, Sterling OMS, Fluent Commerce, Manhattan OMS/WMS, One Stock, Commerce Tools, Hybris SAP , Oracle Commerce.
- Expertise in microservices COTS (Commercial Off the Shelf Solutions) with a focus on Omni Channel.
- Good working knowledge of microservices architecture, cloud platforms and open source technologies.
- Experience of Agile development methods,
- Attitude and Aptitude to learn business functionality, work with multiple clients, being trusted advisor and subject matter expert.
- Good communication skills, learnability, decision making skills, ability to form a point of view.
