Description:
We are looking for a Senior Engineering Surveyor to join our Infrastructure team in A428 - Wintringham.
What you'll do:
- Support the Chief Engineering surveyor and or the Engineering survey manager in co-ordination across all technical work streams, during each stage of a project from PQQ through to construction. Technical work streams may include but are not limited to; all engineering disciplines, design management, digital engineering, sustainability, engineering surveying, asset management and industrialisation.
- If managing a team, ensure that they have the correct training/knowledge in how to work safely.
- Develop their engineering survey teams to meet project needs.
- Ensure that the project have the appropriate survey control network to fulfil the construction requirements.
- Setting out the works in accordance with the contract requirements before work is programmed to commence
What you'll bring to the role:
- Degree in Land Surveying or Engineering Surveying: (Desirable) or
- ONC/B Tec in Land Surveying or Engineering Surveying and previous experience as an Senior Engineering Surveyor.
- Extensive awareness of appropriate survey instruments, software and working methods.
- Full professional Membership of CICES or equivalent body : (Desirable)
- People management skills.
