Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer

JW Lees are excited to announce that we’re now recruiting for a Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team based at our Greengate Brewery in Manchester.

This role will play a vital part in supporting the business through the maintenance of our onsite production facilities.

Responsibilities:

• To lead on all reactive and proactive maintenance of plant and production equipment
• Coordinate the existing maintenance engineer activity
• Maintenance of all electrical equipment through both planned and reactive maintenance procedures.
• Fault finding; ensuring equipment and tools are in safe working order to reduce minimum downtime.
• To carry out modifications to the Brewery.
• Order equipment and supplies for the Brewery.
• Installation of new equipment.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety in practice
• To provide assistance in other departments as directed as and when required.

Skills and Experience:

• Practiced in electrical engineering disciplines within a fast-moving process environment.
• Experience within a food production/hygiene sector advantageous.
• Methodical and proactive approach to fault finding with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Competent computer literacy.
