Senior Educational Psychologist

The Royal Greenwich Educational Psychology & Wellbeing Service has recently expanded and we are pleased to offer the opportunity for an experienced, reflective and resourceful educational psychologist to take on a senior role in our hard-working, supportive and friendly team.

As a senior educational psychologist, you will be part of the service management team, contributing to the strategic planning and leadership of the service alongside the Principal EP and Senior EP colleagues. You will provide clinical supervision and line management to a group of EPs (which may include an EP in Training) and represent the service in local authority processes and initiatives (including multi-agency panels). You will also have a lead role in preparation for adulthood and community engagement. Specific areas of responsibility will include:
 

• Working collaboratively with local partners to support young people who are vulnerable in their transition to adulthood, for example those known to the Youth Offending Service.
• Leading on initiatives to increase Educational Psychology engagement with parents/ carers and the wider community, including supporting the delivery of Family Hub projects.
• Working with the senior management team to review service policies, with a view to improving delivery of services.
