Utilising your Data Protection and stakeholder leadership skills, our role will see you providing advice and mentorship, for all of our brands. Joining our highly valued Risk Team, you will lead the implementation and monitoring of our data protection framework, advise on key risk issues and support the team in raising awareness of data protection, and the Risk Team, across the organisation!
What will your daily life look like?
- Support the Head of Data Protection in maintaining an effective data protection framework, including polices and supporting documentation.
- Lead the implementation of data protection framework across operational and change activities of Moneysupermarket Group.
- Provide mentorship and advice on compliance, with key data protection regulatory rules and principles applicable to Moneysupermarket Group.
- Assist with the timely management and investigation of any data related breaches.
- Plan and perform some data protection monitoring activities, including at third parties, to assess the ongoing efficiency of data protection framework.
- Producing inputs for the relevant sections of regular Risk & Compliance reporting to Senior Management, Executive Management and Board (including Board sub-committees).
- Engage with relevant team members on BAU and change activities across Moneysupermarket Group to ensure data protection matters are appropriately identified through completion of DPIAs.
- Work with team members, directly supporting the Risk & Compliance team to propose and agree actions required to mitigate key risks.
- Support the ongoing development of data protection training and awareness materials and content and assist in the delivery of training.
What do we need from you?
- Confirmed knowledge of data protection requirements as applicable to General Insurance, Consumer Credit and Mortgage products.
- Proven success applying emerging UK and European legislation, codes of practice and industry guidelines
- Polished communications skills, both orally and in writing across all levels of management.
- Proven success building strong working relationships to support driving forward data protection
