Senior Data Engineer

Description:

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will work closely with the development team, legacy data administrator and the support engineers to help the business get the most out of their data. You will be expected to be the subject matter expert of all things to do with modern Azure tooling’s.

🚀 What you'll be doing...

• Developing high quality code for the core data stack including the data integration hub, data warehouse and data pipelines.
• Building data flows for data acquisition, aggregation, and modelling.
• Supporting and optimising data tools and associated cloud environments for consumption by downstream systems, data analysts and data scientists.
• Empowering data scientists and data analysts to be as self-sufficient as possible by building core systems and developing reusable library code.

⚡ What they are looking for...

• You are highly skilled with Azure Data Stack, with particular expertise with Databricks.
• You have strong experience with Python, Spark & SQL.
• Experience or exposure to Microsoft Fabric.
• Outstanding communication skills and proven ability to manage internal stakeholders.
