An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Senior Customer Support Engineer (or Field Application Engineer) to join a growing and innovative RF semiconductor start-up based in the UK. This organization is developing cutting-edge RF Front-End architectures used in mobile phones, wearables, and IoT devices, and is actively expanding its technical customer support capabilities across EMEA.

As a pivotal hire in a newly created role, you will shape and execute the strategy for the Applications Engineering team, providing vital technical support and guidance to key global clients—primarily mobile phone OEMs. The role involves regular collaboration with customers, offering hands-on design-in support, performance evaluation, and RF solution development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical support and application engineering strategy across EMEA.

• Provide in-depth RF technical support to global customers, including troubleshooting and product implementation.

• Work closely with product and design teams to ensure optimal customer solutions.

• Travel internationally to support customer engagements and design-in activities.

• Translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

• A degree in Electronics, RF Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Solid experience in RF technologies, including testing, architecture, and systems evaluation.

• Prior customer-facing or FAE experience, particularly with mobile OEMs.

• Background in the semiconductor industry or relevant technical field.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Willingness and ability to travel across Europe and globally as needed.
