Senior Cost Accountant

Hutcheon Mearns are working with our oil services client to hire a Senior Cost Accountant on a full time, staff basis. This role will be based in Kintore and our client offers hybrid working and a half day Friday. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in a cost accounting role with oil and gas/manufacturing experience.

You will support the development and measurement of financial plans, forecasts and cost controls. The role will take ownership for the regular monitoring and reporting of production variances to identify ways to improve production processes and optimise product costs. You will also report variances on other operating costs and admin expenses to senior management.
