Senior Corporate Tax Manager

The Senior Corporate Tax Manager is responsible for leading and managing a team of tax professionals in providing a high quality, client-focused tax service to a portfolio of corporate clients. The role will involve advising clients on a wide range of corporate tax-related issues, ensuring compliance and identifying tax planning opportunities. The Senior Corporate Tax Manager will also be responsible for managing the tax risk of the client portfolio and for ensuring that the team is kept up to date with the latest tax developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of tax professionals in providing a high quality, client-focused tax service to a portfolio of corporate clients.
• Advise clients on a wide range of corporate tax-related issues, including mergers and acquisitions, group restructuring, cross-border transactions and tax planning.
• Manage the tax risk of the client portfolio and ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Stay up to date with the latest tax developments and ensure that the team is able to provide clients with the best possible advice.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and other internal stakeholders.
• Manage the team's budget and resources and ensure that all deadlines are met.

Qualifications and Experience:

• ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent professional qualification.
• At least 5 years' experience in corporate tax advisory, gained with a leading professional services firm or in-house role.
• Strong technical skills and experience in a wide range of corporate tax-related matters.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
