Description:
Gallagher is seeking a Senior Corporate Account Handler to join their team in Birmingham. As part of a global brokerage, you will handle corporate client accounts, focusing on renewal administration, presentation preparation to insurers, premium negotiations, and client report preparation. You will work with Mid-Corporate and Corporate clients, primarily in the manufacturing and construction sectors, ensuring top-quality service and maintaining strong client relationships.
This role is ideal for someone with a proven ability to provide outstanding customer service, broking proficiency, and market insight. The Senior Corporate Account Handler will ensure client service standards meet company policies and FCA regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, becoming a trusted advisor.
- Prepare high-quality client documents and presentations, including renewal terms and alternative quotations.
- Handle mid-term adjustments proactively and efficiently.
- Ensure accurate client data entry into the system and timely policy processing.
- Manage client queries and act as a liaison with insurers.
- Oversee the preparation and secure delivery of policy documentation.
- Manage account queries and credit control matters effectively.
- Align with legal and regulatory standards, safeguarding both client and business interests.
About You:
- Prior experience handling corporate clients or larger commercial businesses.
- Knowledge of cross-class risks, including Property, Casualty, Professional Indemnity, D&O, and Motor Trade/Fleet.
- ACII / Dip CII / Cert CII qualification (or working towards) is desirable.
- Evidence of strong client service focus, prioritisation skills, and target achievement in a regulated environment.
- Proficient in Acturis and other relevant systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, planning, and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail with the ability to identify and address potential risks.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
