Description:
This role forms part of the Issuer Services new business team and will be responsible for leading our Existing Client Programme (ECP) and generating new revenue from our existing Issuer Services clients.
The primary purpose of the role is to work with client teams and our clients to develop new pipeline and sales for Corporate Governance and Registry services through to completion by developing a strong internal network, identifying opportunities, creating proposals, presenting, and agreeing fee outcomes.
The role requires the ability to navigate the organisation effectively and support on marketing activity.
Key Responsibilities
Programme management
- Lead the strategic planning for the ECP to maximise cross selling for Corporate Governance and Registry services from our existing Issuer services clients, suggesting ideas and opportunities to enhance revenue.
- Drive day to day programme activity – including the management of internal stakeholders to ensure agreed deliverables are met.
Sales Management
- Collaborate with client teams to identify and manage ECP sales opportunities through the sales cycle from initiation through to smooth implementation.
- Keep abreast of activity and changes in the Co Sec, governance and registrar eco-system and our competitors to ensure our sales activity and collateral is appropriately focused to deliver the best return on investment.
- Identify and support suitable events and communications (with the support of internal marketing teams) with our clients and external parties (eg) The QCA - to help strengthen our client relationships and increase market exposure.
Reporting
- Update and monitor sales and relationship reports to support accurate regional and global reporting requirements.
- Ensure Salesforce is kept up to date and suggest advancements that deliver increased sales effectiveness.
What will you bring to the role?
- Experience within a Business Development and/or Client Management role within financial, governance or registry services
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Experienced in presenting to a wide range of stakeholders
- A level / Degree Educated or higher Industry Qualification (CGI, Bankers Institute)
- Experience in planning and managing workload to meet deadlines
- Ability to identify and solve problems
- Strong numeracy skills
- A good understanding of the governance services we provide will be an asset
