Senior Category Manager

Optamor are working with a well-known national company, and they currently have a vacancy for a Senior Category Manager.

You will have a background in Marketing Procurement and a number of years’ experience in a similar role.

What you will be doing:

• Negotiating Supply Contracts: Your role involves negotiating contracts to maximise value for the organisation.
• Business Partnering: Collaborating with functional leaders and contract owners to optimise supply contracts and develop category supplier strategies.
• Vendor Management: Overseeing vendor relationships, including conducting reviews with Tier 1 vendors.
• Category Expertise: You have expertise across various categories such as Marketing, HR, Facilities, Finance, Operations, and Product.
• Procurement Transformation: Contributing to process simplification and digitization within procurement.
• Risk Management: Ensuring strong contracts while managing risk and coordinating with Legal, DP, Infosec, and Finance.
