Senior Associate

Description:

An international law firm based in London is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join its Corporate Insurance team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile corporate transactions within the insurance sector, including public and private M&A, cross-border deals, and reinsurance arrangements.

The successful candidate will provide legal guidance across all areas of the insurance industry, including life and general insurance, while supporting insurtech collaborations. A key part of the role will be advising clients on evolving regulatory challenges in the sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advising on corporate transactions in the insurance sector, including mergers, acquisitions, and reinsurance deals.

• Assisting clients with regulatory compliance and strategic legal matters.

• Collaborating with colleagues internationally on cross-border transactions.

• Supporting insurtech partnerships and developments.

• Engaging in business development activities to strengthen client relationships.

Essential Criteria:

• 2-7 years’ PQE with experience in corporate insurance.

• Strong academic background with a resilient and client-focused approach.

• Technically excellent with strong communication skills.

• Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively within a team.

• Willingness to attend business development events.
