Description:
The Senior Administrator will provide essential administrative support for undergraduate, postgraduate, apprenticeship, and professional development programs in the School of Education, Learning, and Communication Sciences (SELCS). You will play a key role in the administration of various educational programs, contributing to the continuous improvement of processes, admissions, and quality assurance.
In this position, you will work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. You will be the primary point of contact for students, staff, and external partners, ensuring that all inquiries are handled efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Admissions & Course Administration: Manage tasks such as admissions processing, course administration, and ensuring that all documentation and procedures are up to date.
- Student & Staff Liaison: Act as a point of contact for students, staff, and external partners, offering high-quality customer service and handling inquiries.
- Quality Assurance: Contribute to the quality assurance process by maintaining records and supporting relevant quality initiatives.
- Process Improvement: Assist with improving and implementing administrative processes and systems to enhance overall program efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to provide administrative support and enhance the student experience.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience: Significant administrative experience within a customer-focused, busy environment.
- Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in IT, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Confidence in handling confidential matters with discretion.
- Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with university systems such as SITS, Moodle, or e-Vision is desirable but not essential.
- Experience in a higher education setting would be an advantage.
