Senior Account Manager

 

Description:

As a Senior Account Manager you will be responsible for helping build strong relationships with GH05T’s clients through leadership, knowledge and delivering work to a high standard on time. In addition to this, you will understand the priorities within the department and support on structure, strategy and management of the Brand Department.

 

The day-to-day tasks of this role include the following:

  • Developing client relationships through email, phone and in-person/video conference comms. Demonstrating a positive, problem-solving and proactive attitude towards their wants and needs. Leading meetings with key stakeholders via all communicative means.
  • Planning of content through a knowledge of platforms, frequency and audience behaviour.
  • Communicating with the Design Team on volume, frequency, tone and style of content when required.
  • Leading the team on content delivery and ensuring the work GH05T produces is innovative, exciting and on brand for our clients.
  • Being flawlessly strict on deadlines both internally and with the client to ensure that work we are creating is delivered on time and to a standard the client expects.
  • Holding the client to account with regards to timelines and feedback.
  • Working closely with the Account Director to ensure every piece of work is being delivered in the right time frame and style.
  • Managing the delivery of social output for allocated clients and ensuring approval for content is met across multiple territories.
  • Identifying opportunities to further the GH05T product to go above-and-beyond our usual service, using this tactic to retain current clients as well as upsell products to them.
  • Being aware of client issues and raising these with management when appropriate.
  • Developing knowledge and understanding of internet culture and behaviours to continually innovate the GH05T business proposition.
  • To undertake such other tasks including general administrative duties as may be required from time to time.

 

About You

We are looking for someone that is personable, has a strong character but practises humility, demonstrates an understanding of client needs but is able to be diplomatic when required, as well as:

 

  • 3+ years experience in a social media role at a creative agency, working with brands.
  • Basic knowledge of paid/dark social.
  • Effective copywriting skills in relation to social media content.
  • An ability to communicate with clients in a friendly, intelligent and clear manner. Exhibiting diplomacy whilst being clear is of utmost importance. This client responds to direct language.
  • A strong level of fortitude to client demands and be willing to ask for clarification when demands aren’t clear.
  • A proactive nature in solving client issues, ensuring the use of all communicative means to ensure the client is responsive and clear on their demands.
  • An understanding of the English language.
  • Extremely good time management skills.
  • Being an ambassador for GH05T at all times.
