Description:

Search Engine Optimization Specialist is drive rapid and sustainable growth for Ashcorp online stores through innovative and unconventional marketing strategies, leveraging digital marketing tool and data analysis to acquire and retain customers, increase user engagement and optimise conversion rates.

 

Responsibilities

 

Digital Marketing:

  • Develop comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with business objectives, target audience, and budget allocation.
  • Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Produce engaging and relevant content for various digital channels, including websites, blogs, social media platforms, and advertising campaigns.
  • Create and maintain a digital marketing calendar that is aligned with company goals and consistent with other marketing campaigns and communication.
  • Align with email marketing, editorial schedules, and overall content distribution strategies to ensure consistency and effectiveness.

 

Search Engine Optimization:

  • Conduct thorough research to identify the most relevant and high-traffic keywords related to our online stores content and products.. Build, update and maintain a keyword library for company wide use.
  • Optimise various on-page elements of the online stores, including titles, meta descriptions, headings, content, images, and internal linking structure, to make them more search engine-friendly and improve their relevance to target keywords.
  • Develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with SEO goals, including creating high-quality, relevant, and engaging content that satisfies user intent and targets specific keywords
  • Build high-quality backlinks from reputable and relevant websites to improve our online stores authority and credibility in the eyes of search engines. This may include outreach, guest blogging, content promotion, and monitoring backlink profiles

 

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):

  • Analyse user behaviour and online stores’ performance to identify areas for improvement in the conversion funnel.
  • Implement A/B testing, collaborate with UI/UX specialists to develop user experience (UX) enhancements, and other tactics to optimise conversion rates and increase the likelihood of users taking desired actions.

 

Customer Acquisition:

  • Developing and executing strategies to attract new users or customers to the company's products or services.
  • Understand the target audience through research and developed detailed customer personas, including demographics, preferences, pain points and motivations to inform acquisition strategies and messaging.
  • Pivot strategies quickly in an agile way , test new approaches, and capitalise on emerging opportunities to stay ahead of the curve.

 

Retention and Engagement:

  • Design initiatives to keep existing users engaged with the product or service, fostering loyalty, and reducing churn rates.
  • Develop personalised communication strategies, influence email marketing campaigns and other features to enhance user experience and satisfaction.

 

Data Analysis and Experimentation:

  • Utilise data analytics tools and techniques to gather insights into user behaviour, market trends, and the effectiveness of growth strategies.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs), interpret data to inform decision-making, and continuously iteration and optimisation of growth tactics based on data-driven insights.
  • Develop and test innovative ideas, hypotheses, and growth hacks to uncover new opportunities for driving growth.
  • Rapid prototyping, and experimentation with different marketing channels and messaging strategies

 

Education & Experience

 

▪ Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or equivalent from an accredited university.

▪ An advanced degree, such as a Master’s degree in Luxury Brand Management, Business Administration, or Marketing, is preferred for a higher level of insight into business strategies and financial management within the luxury sector.

Evidence of strong industry/sector participation and relevant professional certifications such as:

▪ Growth Hacking Profession Certificate (GHPC)
