The new School Business Manager should buy into the ethos of the school and become an integral part of 'family', holding responsibilities for managing the strategy and operation of the business functions, which includes:Financial Management (including applying for funding through grants/other streams)AdministrationHuman ResourcesFacilities and Property ManagementHealth and Safety
If successful, you will be expected to take a strategic role in the planning of improvements to the school which further improve the financial value of provision and services. You will also ensure that all aspects of those areas managed, meet the reporting requirements and standards of Ofsted, the DfE, the Local Authority and School Financial Value Standard (SFVS).
