Sales Operations Analyst

 

Description:

The Sales Operations Analyst is a role within ConvaTec to support the continued drive for adoption of best practice sales processes as part of the Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) Centre of Excellence programme.

The Sales Operations Analyst will support the Global CRM SFE Sales Enablement Director as the business expert on Sales Enablement capabilities. They will be a bridge between the Salesforce and Global IT as well as working closely with the Business Intelligence (BI) team and the wider SFE Centre of Excellence team.

The successful individual will partner with a wide range of stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing and Training to develop, document and support adoption of best practice processes across the Commercial organization.

The Sales Operations Analyst will be a subject matter expert on all sales processes and related Sales enablement platforms, working with users and IT to drive performance improvements and driving adoption of SFE capability globally.

Key responsibilities:

Supports the Sales Enablement Director by providing expertise in sales capabilities and processes to include
 

  • Support and drive adoption of Microsoft Dynamics (MSD) functionality globally
  • Articulate the needs of the market for MSD, engaging with the Sales user community and informing prioritization of MSD enhancements
  • Manage development and enhancements to Showpad our e-detailing (content presentation) solution, as well as the Inside Sales telephony platform
  • Collaborate with marketing and other stakeholders to develop enhancements and efficiencies to the sales funnel
  • Identify and action updates to the SFE capability (MSD, Showpad etc) training content and associated user guides with ownership of key documents
  • Interrogate performance insights, extract and analyse CRM data sets to provide an informed view of new areas of process improvement
  • Support the wider communication of sales enablement to key stakeholders and user communities

     

The role holder will need to:
 

  • Become an expert in best practice CRM processes and engage with a wide set of stakeholders to support adoption of best practice.
  • Establish themselves as a key member of the SFE CoE team across the business to develop ideas, test concepts and drive the increased effective and efficient use of CRM globally
  • Understand available data sources within each market and prioritise with SFE Data and Insights team what we should be using within MSD

     

Duties and Responsibilities:
 

  • Performing analysis of market adoption and compliance as requested to include investigating process performance issues and identifying improvement actions with the market
  • Presenting insights and data trends to the various sales and marketing teams
  • Based on the analysis insights, identifying and implementing improvements to capabilities in place, to include capturing business requirements, supporting testing and implementation
  • Creating and owning standardised sources of best practice process documentation and keep up to date
  • Identifying and actioning the review and update of training content relating to processes and sales enablement capabilities
  • Maintaining and updating SFE communications elements, to include ownership of the intranet site
  • Competently answering MSD/Showpad and other sales capabilities related queries
  • Assisting users with the creation of CRM MSD views and dashboards
