Description:
The ideal candidate will prospect and close sales lead to help generate revenue for the company. They will also be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating the sales strategy. They will have strong management and coaching skills to support the learning and development of the sales team. Prior work experience in Sales for Surgical sutures and Endo Mechanical devices is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Support the learning and development of the sales team
- Coordinate with sales representatives to generate and meet with prospective leads
- Track and report all sales activities
- Develop and execute sales strategy through market analysis
- Drives business growth by delivering on budgeted sales objectives while adhering to organizational policies.
- Manages a team of senior executives. Supporting them on their development plans and engaging in open and honest conversations.
- Reviews and discusses action plans for the achievement of the sales budget each month.
- Create and implement the plan for conducting promotional activities, develop CRM strategy, and ensure effective execution of marketing strategies from time to time in order to achieve objectives through sales.
- Map the potential of the territory and relate it to market trends and competitors’ activities
- Profiles assess potential, prepare target list, and enlist new doctors as per business requirements.
- Collaborates with government sales teams to ensure product availability and demand generation at different institutions.
- Builds consistent, long-term relationships with Key Opinion Leaders/Key Business leaders in assigned territory by involving them in scientific engagements at regular intervals and through effective coverage at the right frequency.
- Follow up with customers to resolve any issues and ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a timely resolution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required, preferably in Life Sciences or Biotechnology.
- Minimum of 4 up to 10 years of medical device sales experience specifically sutures.
- Relevant therapeutic experience in areas such as Wound Closure, Hernia solutions, Endo-mechanical Wound closure, and Biosurgery is highly preferred.
- Excellent decision-making and strong financial management skills.
- Be an agent of change management.
- Fluency in written and verbal communication skills in regional language. Intermediate level of English. Good written and verbal communication skills as appropriate.
- Willingness to travel with occasional overnight stay(s) according to business needs.
