Sales Engineer

 

Description:

Cyan Tec Systems, a market leader in manufacturing advanced laser, inkjet, and automation systems, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Engineer to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed sales quotations and proposals for complex engineering systems.
  • Prepare and submit tenders, including public portal submissions.
  • Liaise with suppliers for competitive quotations to support the sales process.
  • Actively follow up on quotations to convert them into sales orders.
  • Build and maintain relationships with high-end industrial customers.
  • Represent Cyan Tec at marketing events, sales presentations, and networking opportunities.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to ensure successful and profitable project delivery.
  • Participate in initiatives to identify and grow sales opportunities.
  • Travel across the UK and occasionally internationally to meet customers.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of automation systems and associated products.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Excellent networking, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Desirable Skills:

  • Proven experience in technical sales, including preparing quotations and tenders.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software.
