Description:
Cyan Tec Systems, a market leader in manufacturing advanced laser, inkjet, and automation systems, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Engineer to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed sales quotations and proposals for complex engineering systems.
- Prepare and submit tenders, including public portal submissions.
- Liaise with suppliers for competitive quotations to support the sales process.
- Actively follow up on quotations to convert them into sales orders.
- Build and maintain relationships with high-end industrial customers.
- Represent Cyan Tec at marketing events, sales presentations, and networking opportunities.
- Collaborate with operational teams to ensure successful and profitable project delivery.
- Participate in initiatives to identify and grow sales opportunities.
- Travel across the UK and occasionally internationally to meet customers.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Strong knowledge of automation systems and associated products.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Excellent networking, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Desirable Skills:
- Proven experience in technical sales, including preparing quotations and tenders.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software.
