SEA LIFE Birmingham is seeking a Retail Team Leader to oversee daily operations, provide leadership, and ensure exceptional customer service. This role involves managing stock, supporting the sales strategy, and fostering a positive environment where the team can thrive and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
✔ Support the Retail Manager with the department’s daily operations.
✔ Act as Duty Manager, handling guest complaints and maintaining smooth operations.
✔ Drive sales success by ensuring the team is upselling products effectively.
✔ Manage merchandising, display presentation, and stock, meeting budgeted targets.
✔ Oversee vending machine providers and the operations of games.
✔ Provide coaching, training, and support to new and existing team members.
✔ Set an example of excellent sales techniques and customer service.
🎓 Previous Team Leader experience is a plus.
🎯 Strong communication and rapport-building skills.
🎯 Ability to inspire and mentor a team to achieve excellent results.
