Resourcing Specialist

As a Resourcing Specialist at Drax, your focus will be in sourcing, screening and selecting candidates to join our Core Services Business at Drax in the UK. Working closely with the Resourcing Business Partner for our Core Service functions, you’ll lead on bringing to life a high class, high touch candidate journey. Acting as an ambassador for all things Drax, you’ll be a candidates first point of contact with our business, through the adverts you write and the screening processes you’ll manage.

Day to day you’ll spend your time on things like; writing adverts, managing our applicant tracking system, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, giving feedback and making offers. You’ll have a huge part to play in how new starters feel about joining Drax and how our colleagues progress their Drax careers.

You’ll be the go-to expert in how to find the right candidates for Drax, understanding your candidate markets, designing attraction campaigns (with the resourcing marketing team) and proactively sourcing talent via LinkedIn Recruiter for example.

You’ll be able to advise on talent availability and challenge when job specs don’t match the candidate market. You’ll know when agencies are needed and which ones to partner with. You’ll be the custodian of those key agency partnerships holding them to our standards.

You’ll support candidates through the resourcing lifecycle, helping them prepare for interviews and providing valuable, personal feedback on their application at every step, regardless of the outcome of their application.
