We are looking for a highly motivated scientist to support Nottingham Trent's new strategic investment in Metabolic Health in the School of Science and Technology. The successful applicant will join the recently launched Centre for Systems Health and Integrated Metabolic Research (SHiMR) within the Department of Biosciences.

The PDRA will have experience of molecular techniques including flow cytometry and single cell RNA-Seq. Experience in cellular metabolism and bioinformatics is desirable. Advanced training is available within the SHiMR Centre, where the post-holder will work in the state-of-the-art Interdisciplinary Science and Technology Centre (ISTeC) that houses two major evolving and complementary strategic themes, Metabolic Health, and Cancer Biology, with extensive expertise in cutting edge and in vitro cell biology, cell imaging and molecular techniques such as flow cytometry, spatial transcriptomics, and single cell RNA-Seq.
