The post holder will be based within at the Division of Biomedical Sciences, Warwick Medical School at the University of Warwick where they will work within a team led by Dr. Erin Greaves (Principal Investigator) and collaborate with Dr Christian Becker (Co-I), Associate Professor and Co-Director of Endometriosis Care Centre, Nuffield Department of Women’s & Reproductive Health, University of Oxford as well as with members of teams led by other PIs at the Division of Biomedical Sciences.

The position will be largely based at the Clinical Sciences Research Laboratory (CSRL) based at the University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire site. CSRL is a purpose-built Institute dedicated to translational science and has a strong reproductive health focus.

Applications are welcome from scientists with a PhD in biological sciences with experience in single cell analysis and bioinformatics, flow cytometry, molecular biology and in vitro functional assays. A background in immunology and /or reproductive biology would be an advantage. The post holder will be expected to have excellent communication skills, to assist in supervision of junior staff and students and to collate and present findings at meetings and conferences as well as in the form of manuscripts.

The post holder will be expected to conduct high quality research using human peripheral blood and peritoneal fluid perform deep phenotyping using scRNA-Seq and bioinformatics, and a wide range of molecular and cellular techniques. The candidate will also be expected to participate in the collection and archiving of human tissue, which will require some flexible working.
