Description:
The successful candidate must be able to lead a cross-school collaboration, in addition to having extensive experience of machine learning, mathematical models, software development, and the deployment of bioinformatics pipelines. A proven record of first-author publications on either NF2 or related diseases such as vestibular schwannoma or DiGeorge syndrome is essential. A key goal of this project is the development of a practical free software package that implements an appropriate risk model. Consequently, any experience with image processing software and software dependency management is also highly desirable.
