We are looking for a highly motivated research assistant to support Nottingham Trent's new strategic investment in Metabolic Health in the School of Science and Technology. The successful applicant will join the recently launched Centre for Systems Health and Integrated Metabolic Research (SHiMR) within the Department of Biosciences.

You will have experience in laboratory operations and core biochemical skills and will support the running of the metabolic physiology and molecular biology teams. Advanced training is available within the SHiMR Centre, where the post-holder will work in the state-of-the-art Interdisciplinary Science and Technology Centre (ISTeC) that houses the major and evolving and complementary strategic themes of Metabolic Health, Neurophysiology and Cancer Biology, with extensive in vivo and in vitro molecular techniques.
