A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a leading Premium Wine & Spirit Supplier as a Regional Sales Manager. This role focuses on driving sales growth across the South West, Bristol, and Midlands region. The company boasts a prestigious product portfolio and a growing network of distribution depots, ensuring extensive market coverage and commercial success.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a strong entrepreneurial spirit, working independently to build relationships, drive sales, and unlock new business opportunities within both the on-trade (pubs, bars, restaurants) and off-trade channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive business growth by securing new accounts and expanding sales volumes across the South West and Bristol territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, focusing on long-term partnerships and client satisfaction.
- Develop and implement tailored sales strategies aligned with customer needs and business objectives.
- Manage commercial negotiations, including pricing, contracts, and profit margins.
- Conduct regular client meetings to showcase new product offerings, discuss market trends, and identify growth opportunities.
- Work closely with internal departments (marketing, logistics, and finance) to ensure seamless customer service.
- Keep up to date with competitor activity and market trends to maintain a competitive edge in the industry.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven sales and account management experience within the drinks, hospitality, or FMCG sector.
- Strong understanding of the on-trade market, particularly pubs, bars, and restaurants.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Commercially savvy with the ability to manage complex contracts and drive profitable sales.
- Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel regularly across the region.
