Regional Sales Manager

 

Description:

ROLE:

  • Responsible for sales of high end manufactured heating metering systems and associated pre-payment solutions
  • Generating specifications from M&E Consultants, local authorities, housing associations and developers
  • Securing both new build and social housing projects
  • Working in conjunction with the trade sales teams who manage the relationships with merchants and contractors
  • 50:50 split between managing and expanding existing relationships vs. generating new business
  • Covering a territory which will incorporate South East with predominant focus on London inside the M25.

 

PERSON:

  • Demonstrable track record of generating specifications via M&E consultants, local authorities and / or housing associations
  • Ideally an existing database or relationships with specifiers within the territory
  • Experienced in providing client solutions and not just a ‘box sell’ sales style
  • Able to comfortable pass on specifications and work with the contractor team
  • Product related experience ideally within metering, billing, energy metering, district heating, heat interface units, heating systems, Ventilation, Renewables
  • Ideally degree educated in business, electrical engineering or related subjects
  • Attention to detail, organised and comfortable with managing a territory
  • Professional, presentable, experienced, hungry personality
