We are seeking a Regional Financial Controller to join our Global Finance team reporting to the SVP Financial Controller. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a well-rounded skill set to join the team, whose responsibilities extend beyond those of traditional finance leader. You will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing financial reporting, operations, strategic planning, and compliance for the EMEA & APAC region based out of the regional hub in London. Job Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Lead and mentor the EMEA & APAC finance team (two direct reports, total team of seven), fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Coordinate with the global finance teams to ensure consistency in financial processes and reporting in a matrix structured environment.
  • Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including billing and collections.
  • Address and resolve accounting issues.
  • Play an active part in the regional leadership team.

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements for the EMEA & APAC region.
  • Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process.
  • Provide regular financial updates to senior management and the board of directors.

Strategic Financial Decision-Making:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and special projects.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities and assess their financial impact on the organization.
  • Provide financial and operational insights to support key business decisions.

Cash Flow Management:

  • Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring optimal liquidity for daily operations and strategic investments.
  • Implement effective cash management strategies to optimize working capital.
