Description:

Veterinary Vision Vets is seeking a friendly, proactive, and reliable Receptionist to join their dedicated team at the Bamber Bridge branch. This role plays a key part in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all clients and their pets. As the first point of contact, you will help manage the day-to-day front desk operations while supporting the internal team in delivering top-tier veterinary care.

This full-time, permanent position offers a dynamic and varied workload in a supportive and caring environment where animal welfare is paramount.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and check-in clients and their pets in a warm and professional manner.

  • Manage practice diary: schedule appointments and surgical procedures.

  • Handle appointment cancellations, rebookings, and follow-ups.

  • Answer and direct phone calls and email enquiries.

  • Coordinate communication between clients and clinical team.

  • Perform administrative duties including scanning, filing, and prescription processing.

  • Maintain a clean, organized reception area.

  • Take payments and follow up on outstanding client accounts.

  • Support stock ordering and inventory tasks.

  • Report client concerns or complaints to the Office Manager.


Candidate Profile:

  • Prior reception or administrative experience preferred, especially in fast-paced environments.

  • Confident and professional telephone manner.

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

  • Able to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.

  • Committed team player with excellent customer service skills.
