Description:
As a Project Director for Hotel Refurbishment, you will be a crucial member of their team responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of hotel renovation, refurbishment and development projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure that projects are executed to the highest standards
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Take ownership of hotel refurbishment projects from inception to completion, ensuring they align with the client's vision and meet the company's quality standards
- Team Management: Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary project team, including architects, designers, contractors, and subcontractors. Provide clear direction and guidance to achieve project goals
- Budget and Schedule Management: Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively to ensure projects are delivered within scope, time, and cost constraints
- Client Interaction: Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular project updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential risks and challenges in projects and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring smooth project execution
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control procedures to guarantee the highest standards of workmanship, materials, and finishes in all refurbishment projects
- Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to local regulations, building codes, and industry standards
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management, highlighting key milestones, project status, and potential issues
Requirements:
- At least 5 years’ experience in delivering hotel projects
- Strong experience of refurbishment or construction projects
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with clients and internal teams effectively
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote working environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail
- Willingness to travel for occasional on-site project visits, if required
