Job Summary:

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor/Cost Manager to join a dynamic team in Cambridge. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse range of projects, providing cost consultancy, project cost control, and contractual guidance. Key Responsibilities:

Cost Consultancy & Management: Collaborate with a team of Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers, reporting to the Technical Director to deliver cost consultancy services.
Pre-Contract Services: Conduct feasibility studies, cost plans, and pre-tender estimates at various RIBA stages.
Contract Administration: Assist in contract preparation, procurement advice, and contractor selection.
Fund Monitoring & Risk Management: Monitor supplier performance, track project progress, and oversee financial reporting.
Project Meetings & Client Relations: Chair meetings, advise clients on procurement, cost solutions, and contract administration.
Post-Contract Services: Administer cost variations, resolve disputes, track deliverables, and prepare management reports.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Degree in Quantity Surveying or RICS-accredited course (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
MRICS Chartered Surveyor or working towards chartership.
✔ Previous consultancy experience in real estate or construction.
✔ Strong commercial awareness, problem-solving, and cost control skills.
